About DatabaseIntegrate.org
DatabaseIntegrate.org is a free learning site for students, junior developers and hobbyists who are building their first application that stores data. It explains, in plain language, how a program connects to a database, how SQL queries are put together and why some queries are slow.
What you can do here
- Follow the five-step learning path on the home page, from “what is a table” to reading a query plan.
- Build SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE statements with the visual SQL query builder and see the generated SQL.
- Generate connection strings and copy-paste code examples for Python, Node.js, Java, C#, PHP and Go with the connection string generator.
- Read ten performance strategies once your first app starts to feel slow.
Why a separate .org site?
The .org site is intentionally narrow and beginner-oriented: short explanations, hands-on tools and no assumptions about prior database experience. It does not sell anything and is not connected to any company or course provider.
How the site is run
The site is maintained independently as a static website and may show Google AdSense advertising to cover hosting. Suggestions for topics that confused you are very welcome through the contact page. See also the privacy policy, terms of use and disclaimer.
